Tamás Varga

Tamás Varga is a medical doctor. He pursued his photographic studies at the ASA Photo Studio, and regards Gábor Kerekes and Géza Seres as his masters. He primarily uses analogue and historical photographic processes. His works have been presented in nineteen solo exhibitions, and he has participated in over 150 group shows worldwide. He has published five solo photo albums since 2019. Some of his numerous recognitions: Spring Fine Arts Exhibition, Debrecen; main prize of the Ministry of Human Capacities (2022); Photographic Biennale in Esztergom; main prize of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (2022); Spring Fine Arts Exhibition; main prize of the City of Debrecen (2024).
