Márton Kállai

Márton Kállai studied sociology at Eötvös Loránd University where he became interested in photography. He has been working as a photojournalist since 2006, mainly documenting rural Hungary. His photographic interests focus on the formation of communities and the relationship between people and the environment. He pursues his photo series over long periods, fascinated by the dynamics of change. In addition to numerous Hungarian press photography awards, he was ranked third in the Feature Picture Story category of Pictures of the Year International. He won the József Pécsi Scholarship three times between 2015 and 2017. He is a member of the Pictorial Collective community and the Association of Hungarian Photographers.
