János Stekovics

János Stekovics is an engineer, economist and self-taught photographer, who lives and works in Germany. He takes black-and-white photographs using digital techniques, but uses a traditional visual approach. He does not exhibit his work, but he does publish it. His own publishing company (Verlag Janos Stekovics) has published over 500 books since 1992. In recent years, in addition to numerous smaller publications, he has published five important large-scale books, the most important of which is Wörlitz – Geometrie eines Traums (2025).
