Károly Minyó Szert

Károly Minyó Szert is a visual artist, freelance photographer and light bicycle performer. He studied painting and photography in Budapest. He has been exhibiting continuously in Hungary and worldwide since 1989. His first book (Light Years or Shadow Images on a Light Bicycle) was published by A38 in 2005. The Hungarian national television station MTV made a portrait film about him in 2007. Between 2011 and 2015, he led the FoToNoIrE therapeutic photography circle, which he founded, at the Megálló Group Foundation, and a book about his therapeutic work was published by the foundation. His second book came out in 2017. He won the Rudolf Balogh Award in 2022. His third book, The Nonlinear Dynamics of Fotonoire Phenomena, was published in the autumn of 2025. He has been represented by the Anzenberger Gallery in Vienna since 2010. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Hungarian Museum of Photography, the Anzenberger Gallery in Vienna, and the Equibrilyum Art Collection in Budapest.
