Dávid Biró is a photographer and visual artist based in Budapest. He completed his BA in Photography at the University of Kaposvár and went on to earn his MA at MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design). His practice is defined by a sustained interest in technology and its critical examination. He was a finalist for the Dutch ING Unseen Talent Award in 2018, he won the MODEM Award in 2022, and he was awarded the József Pécsi Photography Scholarship in 2021 and 2022. He was a visiting lecturer on the MA Photography programme at MOME during the academic year of 2022 to 2023. His works are displayed in the Balázs–Dénes and ING private collections, among others, as well as in the collection of the MODEM in Debrecen.
