Szabolcs Dudás

Szabolcs Dudás has been taking photographs since he was a child. He began working as a photojournalist for the Novi Sad-based Forum Publisher in 1988. He worked as a photojournalist for the weekly HVG and as the Central European correspondent of the French photo agency Sipa Press from 1993. His photographs have appeared in leading publications worldwide, from Asahi Shimbun to Time magazine. He won the award for the best-performing photojournalist under the age of 35 in 1999 and 2002. He was the head of the photo section of origo.hu from 2014 to 2016, and worked as a photographer with the Paris-based 3+1 workshop and as picture editor of the weekly 168 Óra between 2018 and 2021 he. His works have repeatedly been awarded in the Hungarian Press Photo competition, and he received the Special Prize of the Alföld Photo Salon in 2020. In recent years, he has had solo shows in Belgrade, Kanjiž and Budapest.
