Milán Radisics is a Hungarian photographer and artistic director with ex-Yugoslav roots. He works at the intersection of art photography and documentary photography; he examines the interaction between nature and people from the air and from ground level, as well as the resulting environmental consequences. He is a contributing photographer to National Geographic. He introduced the genre of nature photo-reportage in Hungary. He is a winner of the Hungarian Press Photo Competition’s main prize, a two-time recipient of the POYI Award of Excellence, and a winner of the Sony Photography Awards with his Roxy fox series. His short film Art of Pollution has received recognition at more than twenty international festivals. His long-term project Water.Shapes.Earth, which has received multiple awards, examines the traces of water, pollution and human intervention through painterly aerial compositions. He has held solo exhibitions at the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest and at CerModern in Ankara. His works are also included in the collection of the Hungarian National Museum. He is the founder of the OurNature photography competition.
