The Sunken Cathedral is an emblematic work of French Impressionism evoking a Breton legend: the cathedral of the coastal city of Ys rises from the waves from time to time before sinking again into the depths. Here, the tenth piece from Debussy’s Préludes is heard in a boldly progressive rendition.
The project speaks of the elevation of the human soul, without which no peace can exist either in us or around us.
